Asbestos in the home...
I recently had a passing conversation with a fellow home renovator, and realised that there are probably A LOT of people around without a general awareness of asbestos risks and how to manage them. I was startled by this realisation and realised it might be a good time to share some information with family and friends. This first article is about how to identify asbestos that may be in your home. I'll post again shortly when I find some good simple advice articles on 'what to do' when you find asbestos. But as a general rule- LEAVE IT ALONE then engage A CERTIFIED REMOVALIST to remove it and clean it up.
